We are getting excited about hosting our candidates forum for this Saturday.  You should have received your “Voter Information Guide & Sample Ballot” in the mail late last week.  In there you will see if you’re now District 20 or 23.

🎯I’d like to send out a reminder to please fill out the survey ahead of the event.  Let’s show our candidates what’s important to the people of Ridgecrest through data!  Make your voice known by filling out the survey to make them know what you expect from your representatives once elected!  Now is the time to best influence a candidate’s platform.

📣Tell your friends and neighbors.  This is a big deal!  Last year, multiple people from our group invited Rep. Vince Fong to Ridgecrest for a townhall twice and got the exact same form letters back. Not only were the letters not updated after several months, but it contained the lame excuse that he was already communicating with people enough. Sorry, but form letters he can’t even bother to update after 6 months is not communication.  It’s time for Ridgecrest to have representation that cares to have a conversation.  One that is willing to take the time to listen and understand problems real people are dealing with, not just corporations.
