National & Statewide Protests

Have you been wanting to put the pressure on at Cal-City?  Now is your chance.  On 5/4, people across Californian have joined forces to bring attention to the grave problems concerning the ICE faculties in California. Join us tomorrow (4/25) to sign up for a carpool for 5/4 at the National Communities Not Cages protest 10am-12pm at China Lake and Ridgecrest Blvd.

80% of the people being detained have no criminal record.  Families are being torn apart. Mothers are having to make the hard decision to self deport and leave their children behind because they are unable to endure the inhumane conditions these detention centers and keeping them in. People

And if they are eventually released, it’s not just lost time.  It has a cost from lost income and attorney fees. A lawyer in one DACA case was $7,000 and she was detained for nearly 6 months. This error isn’t uncommon. The point of ICE’s operation is cruelty.

Can you imagine not working and getting a paycheck for months?  Who is paying for your rent or mortgage?  What kind of long term psychological impacts will this have on our communities children when parents are ripped from their arms?

Join us in solidarity for the detainees and families of those unjustly and inhumanly detained 4/25 in Ridgecrest and 5/4 in Cal-City.
