No Kings 4 is happening this Saturday, October 17th from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M., at Democracy Corner (Ridgecrest and China Lake). We’re looking forward to seeing all of you there. This will be a peaceful rally (not a protest) to encourage early voting. Our theme is, “Let’s get together and encourage everyone to vote.” Please make and bring signs, expressing this theme, or, if you can’t make signs, just bring yourself. Here are some suggestions for sign-making messages: “Vote early”, “Your vote matters”, “Exercise your voice, vote!”, and “Our voice, our vote”.
The House race this November isn’t about supporting political policies, it’s about needing to preserve our Democratic Republic.
That same day, from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M., the KTS Farmers Market is having a food drive. For a list of suggested food items, please click here. We will collect donations from our 50501 members at Democracy Corner during our NK4 Get Out the Vote Rally and take those donations to the Farmers Market.
As we’re not advertising the rally, we need you to share with your friends on social media and in person. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Sarah

Background on No Kings
The No Kings slogan started when Trump posted an AI image of himself in a crown with the text “Hail to the King” in February 2025.
Since then we have witnessed him:
- tear down the East Wing of the Whitehouse to build a ballroom
- hold black tie galas while the rest of us struggle to buy groceries and gas
- let our country be bought and run by the broligarchy
- deploy untrained goons to spread fear in our cities
- attack the press for not spreading his propaganda
- start wars without Congressional approval
- spread lies about the integrity of our elections
These aren’t actions taken by a president. He may have been elected, but so was the 10th president of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos, who ruled as a dictator under martial law from 1972 to 1981.
If you’re a conservative, we’re not asking you to give up your values. We’re asking you to vote one last time with us to save our country from continued destruction.
Impeach. Convict. Remove.
