Responses from Fong

Our writers have gotten responses from Fong’s office and have shared them with me. Multiple people are receiving exact duplicate copies of the same letters. Fong’s excuse for not holding a town hall is that he’s corresponded with 16,000 people- but if he’s circulating the same handful of letters to everyone, he’s not really communicating with the people.

Check out the responses we have gotten. There’s a lot of spin, double-speak, and just out right lies in some cases. Please feel free to download them and take a red pen to correct the errors. Bonus points for also providing a printed article as the source of your markups. For topics that Ridgecrest City Council can act on, we will present these findings at the City Council meetings. We will also be collecting these proofed letters to give back to Fong’s aids when they visit Ridgecrest. Not all of the responses are horrible, but for full transparency we are providing all of his emails back to us so people know where he stands. Without a townhall, this is our only form of dialogue.
