Mental health resources
If you’re struggling with stress or depression, remember that doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human. The pain you may feel is strong and overwhelming but you need to face it. The only way to deal with grief is to go through it. There’s no way around it, you can’t run from it, and you can’t just get over it. It’s a tunnel that you must pass through, but there is light at the end and people waiting to welcome you back when you’re ready. You don’t have to go through it alone, there are guides that can help you navigate.

Trigger warning: Epstein
What’s coming out of the Epstein files is unimaginably disgusting and horrifying. I think we all knew it was going to be bad, but this has been really hard for me to process this weekend. I had blown off QAnon stories as crazy conspiracies. And I guess some of the stories were almost right. But Q got one thing wrong: Trump is the villain, not the hero.
Our people kept telling me that all these crazy things Trump is doing was to distract from the Epstein files. I thought that was a bit far-fetched: sinking boats, abducting the president of another country, invading our cities with masked thugs- all to distract from the Epstein files? The more reasonable explanation was that he was a sociopath with the desire to rule over everything. I now believe both could be true.
To gain some perspective I think we need to zoom out a bit to understand how this could happen.
- People with generational wealth have the ability to attend Ivy league schools who often have fraternities or exclusive clubs. These people have learned how to be a part of a secret society
- Rapists conduct their assaults motivated by the desire to exploit their power over another person.
So with the top 1 percent’s desire to own everything, control society, and ensure the legacy for their children, then is it that surprising that a secret society could form to subjugate other people, steal their innocence, and destroy their future? Don’t we already see this with institutional racism?
Everyone involved in the Epstein files should spend life in prison. There is a part of me that wants to wish more horrible things to them, but we need to build a better future. And that future can’t start with violence.
Strategic non-violence
50501 and other organizations have taken a strict approach that the movement now needs to be non-violent. The regime will take every opportunity they can to throw us in jail and disappear us. But, if we walk the line where we are legally always in the right, they can’t touch us. We might be pepper sprayed or arrested, some of us have been executed- but justice is starting to catch up and Noem and Bovino are out.
Being non-violent does not mean passive. It means staying on the right side of the line. It means we can be distracting by blowing whistles, run our own intel to alert others about where ICE raids are happening, and that throwing a sandwich is not an attack with a deadly weapon.
We have been able to amass 7 million people protesting at No Kings 2. We need more to join us. They won’t if we become violent. Historically there needs to be a resistance of 3.5% of the population. From Hands Off, No Kings, and No Kings 2, each time an additional 2 million people joined us. If we project out from there, we need to accomplish a few more of these mass protests. We want the masses to be able to join us. The plan is that at the end of March we have the next No Kings when the weather would be better for most of the country.
Take back control
If you’re upset, turn that anger into strategic action and join us. Our next protest is 2/21 from 10am-12pm at Ridgecrest & China Lake Blvd. We are not protesting next weekend because we have a townhall with the Chief of Police, the Mayor, and at least one council member. Join us for that too, 2/7 City Hall at 9 am. deflockridgecrest.org.
