🚫We are NOT hosting a protest tomorrow or this weekend. We have work to do before the townhall on 2/7 and we don’t have the bandwidth to support this rapid response action.

📣National protests are really great because they help local groups connect with new people to grow the movement.  National protests aren’t supposed to be a moment in time, its suppose to help build the momentum for local action.  We are building a movement, and that takes work and persistence.

DeFlock Ridgecrest

🛑By fighting the Flock company, we are fighting ICE.  LAPD is illegally sharing Flock data with ICE. We hope that many of you will join us for the Flock Townhall that we have coordinated with the Chief of Police and Mayor next Saturday.  The Chief really likes the utility of the system, but the backdoors the Flock company have left open are inexcusable.

🕵️We are still reading through all of the documents and it’s becoming a bit of a rabbit hole.  There’s what appears to be some shady business that went down, so we’ve requested more documents…

📂We have scanned what we have and put them up on Google Drive for everyone to be able to view and comment.  We have sorted some of the documents into folders named by the email subject line. There are also other folder names which I hope are self explanatory. I would recommend starting with the _Interesting folder 👀
