For those who read all the way to the bottom of the newsletters, you got the Easter Egg to Save-the-date of 10/18. Official announcement has been released and it is the next mass protest! “We Say No Kings.”

I have come to understand the turn out difference in the mass protests over the regular consistent ones- and it will will show more in a community like ours with federal workers:

1. people feel safer in numbers
2. people feel it is easier hide their identity
3. under the above conditions, people are willing to accept the risk because they do feel a responsibility to be out there

💝Let’s support our federal workers and give our town the space to participate with expressing their 1st amendment rights.

✔️I’ve been working with the city, and things are really coming together for planning a march. Together, we can make this happen! If everyone on this mailing list pitched in $10, we could have the following:

• Rent the Freedom Park Gazebo to have guest speakers
• Rent a PA system
• Hire a photographer
• Pay for event liability insurance
