ICE is in communication with CoreCivic prison contractor in California City to repurpose the facility as an ICE detention center. We have done this before in our history, do we need to repeat our mistakes?

People are being detained at worksites without a warrant and deported without due process.

Many who are attend their immigration hearings and check-ins are being abruptly taken into custody without having committed a violent crime.

Prison without due process is a concentration camp. 
Deportation without due process is kidnapping.

• “Responses from Fong” Rep. Fong has given the excuse that he has corresponded with 16k people as justification for not having a townhall.  However, he sends out exact same letters to everyone who writes to his website.  That’s not responding to the people.  I encourage you to read his responses and take a red pen to them to give your feedback.  If we can’t have a townhall, this is the only format he has left us to have a dialogue.  Comments can be submitted to the aid when they visit Ridgecrest once a month.
